FixitPlus Inc. is a GTA handyman and renovation company that grew out of more than 20 years of custom-home building in the Toronto area — new builds, additions and whole-home renovations. Alan, our project manager, is the single point of contact on every job, from first quote to final walkthrough. We are licensed, insured and WSIB covered, agree prices before starting, route permit work to licensed trades and guarantee our workmanship.

Over 20+ years across the GTA, one thing became clear: homeowners didn’t just need builders for big projects, they needed a crew they could trust for the everyday jobs, too.
So we built one. FixitPlus pairs true builder experience with the responsiveness of a great handyman service — the same people who can frame a second storey will also mount your TV, patch your drywall and fix that door that’s stuck for years. Led by our project manager Alan, every job runs through one accountable point of contact from the first call to the final walkthrough.

The advice on this site is written to help you make a good decision about your home — including when the right answer is a different trade, or doing it yourself.
Written from the job site
Every guide is written by or with Alan, our project manager, from work we do in GTA homes and condos every week — not rewritten from other websites.
No invented prices
We do not publish price lists or made-up “average costs”. Costs depend on the wall, the access, the materials and the size of the list, so we explain what drives the price and quote your actual job.
Honest about licensed work
Where something needs a permit, a licensed electrician, a licensed plumber or a gas technician, the page says so plainly — including when that means the work is not ours to do.
Reviewed and dated
Each page shows when it was last reviewed. We revisit our guides at least once a year, and sooner when building codes, product practice or what we see on site changes.
